ERC Standard for Deposits

ERC Standard for Deposits

Notes

  • Beanstalk has 2 unique asset classes: Deposits and Pods.
  • For Deposits, the domain space of metadata is greater than the domain space of metadata for 1155s.
  • Hashing to reduce storage would lose access to all the inputs of the hash.
  • Hope to create a new ERC standard with infinite domain space.
  • Seems ideal to have each Beanstalk token implemented as an Ethereum-level standard—theoretically an ERC standard would help with adoption.
