Using the Beanstalk DAO Snapshot

Submitting a Snapshot Proposal

In order to submit a BIP/BOP on the Beanstalk DAO Snapshot page, you must connect with a BCM signer wallet (although anyone with 0.1% Stalk can propose a BIP in Discord via this process).

  1. Select “New proposal” on the left.
  2. Fill out the “Title” and “Description” fields (the “Description” field is where you put the Markdown for the proposal).
    1. You can preview what the rendered Markdown looks like by selecting “Preview”.
  3. Select “Continue”.
  4. Fill in “For” for Choice 1 and “Abstain” for Choice 2.
    1. Both the 7 day voting period and the Single choice voting is enforced.
  5. Select “Publish” and sign the message with your wallet.
